Flyfish Club House Rules

Flyfish Club is a private members-only dining club, located in New York City and operated by VCR Group. Membership is accessible through the purchase of a Flyfish Club NFT token. Flyfish Club requires members to follow the below guidelines to create a safe and hospitable environment for all members and guests.

  1. Club Hours

    • Ground floor restaurant: 11am-12am Sunday to Thursday; 11am-1am Friday and Saturday;
    • Cellar: 11am-12am daily;
    • Sub cellar: 11am-2am daily;
    • Courtyard: 11am-10pm daily
  2. Membership to Flyfish Club

    • A Flyfish token represents your membership, which provides access to our dining club and other experiences.
    • To fully activate your membership, make reservations to the club upon opening, and to unlock all of the benefits of the club, members will be required to read & sign supplementary documentation that will serve as an agreement to Flyfish Club's rules and guidelines.
    • Beginning in 2024, all members will be required to pay an annual due of $750.
    • Members are able to withdraw their membership from Flyfish Club at any time by reselling their membership on the secondary market. Any dues paid to date will not be reimbursed.
  3. Membership Database

    • To provide a proper experience for our members, it is necessary to have members' details stored in their profile plus a recent photograph to verify identification. By becoming a member of Flyfish Club, you agree that we can hold your personal details and a photograph to use in connection with your membership. If your contact or payment details change, please update your information on the Flyfish Club app, on the portal or when you visit us in-person.
  4. Membership Payment

    • By providing us with your payment information, you accept and consent to being charged $750 annually for your membership dues.
    • We will notify you in advance if there are to be any changes to the amount, date or frequency of the payment of your membership dues.
    • Failure to pay annual dues within one month of the due date will result in a warning to the member. Should members not pay dues within two months, members may not be admitted to Flyfish Club.
  5. Membership Access

    • Members will be required to present their membership via the Flyfish Club app at time of arrival.
    • In order to gain access, members must be in possession of the actual token and must have an active Flyfish profile.
    • Unsure on this one at this time - If guest who is dining at the club is being leased the membership and the member is not with them, they still need to have access to membership via the app.
  6. Your Personal Information

    • We will use the personal information you provide us in connection with your membership, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  7. Reservations

    • Reservations are encouraged for dining in the main dining room and required for dining in the omakase room. We recommend booking in advance.
    • Reservations are not required to enjoy the restaurant bar or the lounge.
    • If a Flyfish member can not make their scheduled reservation for the main dining room, we strongly encourage members to cancel their reservations in advance so we can provide the best experience for each of our members. If a member does not show up or cancel their reservation and this becomes a recurring theme, we will give the member a warning. If this behavior continues, management reserves the right to not honor the token in the future.
    • If a Flyfish Omakase member does not cancel their reservation in the omakase room within 24 hours of their reservation, there will be a charge incurred of $150 per person.
  8. Guests

    • Flyfish members can bring the amount of guests that the table and reservation are reserved for. For example, if you reserved a 6-person table, you can bring 5 guests. Guests are not permitted to enter the club until they are accompanied by a member. Members are responsible for ensuring their guests follow all house rules.
    • Flyfish members can bring up to 3 guests to enjoy the restaurant bar or lounge.
    • Flyfish Omakase members are permitted to bring 1 guest to the omakase room.
  9. Respect

    • Flyfish Club considers the treatment of its members, their guests, and the staff alike with common courtesy, dignity and respect to be of the utmost importance.
  10. Children

    • Flyfish Club is designed for adults, but aims to be child-friendly. Children are permitted to be a guest of a member, however, children under the age of 21 are not permitted by the bar or lounge areas.
    • Children count as a part of your guest allowance
    • Please remember that your children are your responsibility at all times when present at Flyfish Club, and ensure they are not left unattended at any time.
    • Children under the age of 16 are only permitted at the Omakase first seating.
  11. Dress code

    • We encourage our guests to dress elevated casual and for the occasion. Flip flops, gym shorts, and beach attire are not permitted. We reserve the right to deny entry to patrons that are not sufficiently well-presented.
  12. Mobile and Smart Device Policy

    • Cellphones are permitted provided they follow the below policies.
  13. Privacy for members/guests

    Members and their guests must not disturb or solicit others in the main dining room as well as the Omakase Room at Flyfish Club with whom they are not personally acquainted.

  14. Cameras / recording devices

    No camera, video or other recording devices may be used while in Flyfish Club that disturb other members and their guests. Flyfish Club reserves the right to take possession of and confiscate any cell phone, camera, video or other recording device.

  15. Press

    Flyfish Club operates under a strict no press policy. Members will be held accountable if they or their guests disclose or identify any other members or guests who are at Flyfish Club to the press.

  16. Membership Confidentiality

    Flyfish Club management and staff pledge to maintain all records and personal information concerning their members and guests in the strictest confidence. The address, telephone number, email address or other contact information of a member shall not be revealed to other members or guests.

  17. Alcohol Consumption

    The service of alcohol to anyone under the age of 21 is illegal and is prohibited. The Club's staff is not permitted to serve alcohol to anyone who does not present satisfactory proof of age (in the form of official photo identification) upon request. In addition, the Club's staff is expected to and has the right to stop serving alcohol to any person who appears to be intoxicated or on the verge of becoming intoxicated. There should be no argument with any staff member who has exercised his or her judgment to refuse to serve alcohol to someone or to stop someone from further consumption of alcohol. The Club will hold accountable any Member who is responsible for an individual under the age of 21 who consumes alcohol at the Club, whether or not that Member was present at the time the alcohol was consumed.

  18. Illegal drugs / substances / items

    No member or guest shall purchase, use, ingest, possess, sell or otherwise distribute illegal drugs or other substances, or attempt to do any of the same with any member or guest. No member or guest shall ask any Flyfish Club staff for illegal drugs or other substances while on the premises, or in the immediate vicinity thereof. If any of the actions above prove true, the relevant member and/or guest will be removed and the membership in question will be terminated.

    No member or guest shall purchase, sell, use or possess any object which is illegal or offensive while on Flyfish Club premises or in the immediate vicinity thereof. If any such objects are found, the item will be confiscated, the relevant member and/or guest will be removed from the Club, the membership in question will be terminated and, depending on the circumstances, we may have to call the police or relevant authorities.

  19. Bills

    All bills must be settled in full before leaving Flyfish Club. Members are responsible for their guests' bills; if they are not paid, the member may face suspension.

  20. Event Booking and House maintenance

    We may at times close all or part of Flyfish Club to members and their guests for private events or for necessary maintenance, repair or redecoration work.

    Where we close part of Flyfish Club for private events, please honor and respect the privacy of all private events occurring in the club and refrain from communicating any information about the event to third parties in any medium.

    Where all or part of Flyfish Club is closed for maintenance, repair or redecoration work, or where we need to withdraw facilities or services because we consider that they may pose a risk to the health or safety of our members, guests or staff, or that they are detrimental to the business, we will seek to ensure that any such area, facility or service is reinstated as soon as practicable.

  21. Club events

    From time to time, Flyfish Club may produce member events at the club. When this occurs, we may film, video or photograph our events for advertising, promotions, public relations, and other commercial/business purposes. If you take part in these interviews or events, you agree to us using your name, image and limited other information. You also consent to us publishing any materials produced by, or for, us for any purpose without your further consent, and you waive your right to receive any payment from us in connection with such publication.

  22. Accidents and injuries

    If a member or guest has an accident or suffers any injury at, or in the vicinity of, Flyfish Club, please report this as soon as possible to a member of staff and, in any event, within 24 hours of the incident. As well as wanting to check on a member or guest's wellbeing, this information is needed in order to help us comply with our health and safety obligations and for insurance purposes.

  23. Animals

    No animals will be allowed at Flyfish Club except for legally recognized and certified service dogs. Flyfish club reserves the right to request documentation of said service animal.

  24. Smoking policy

    All members and their guests are obligated to abide by the House’s smoking policy, and to all applicable no-smoking governmental laws, rules and regulations. No smoking (including e-cigarettes and vapes) is allowed inside the Club at any time.

  25. Disciplinary procedure

    Conduct by a member or guest that is prejudicial to the reputation and character of Flyfish Club may result in suspension or expulsion of such member or guest. Such conduct may include inappropriate, violent or abusive behavior, or the communication of information concerning the club, members or their guests of Flyfish Club to the media. An expelled member may not return to Flyfish Club as a member or a guest. A refund of the expelled member's subscription will be at the discretion of Flyfish Club. Any member or members who willfully remove, damage or destroy any property belonging to Flyfish Club, or to members or guests on the premises, will be liable to expulsion and/or suspension or termination of their membership. Every member binds him/herself to abide by the rules, bylaws and regulations of Flyfish Club at all times upon acceptance as a member. If Flyfish Club considers that any member's (or their guests) conduct either inside or outside of Flyfish Club's premises is, at its absolute discretion, contrary to the interests of Flyfish Club, Flyfish Club may with immediate effect expel the member or guest from the premises and/or suspend or terminate that member's membership without having to give any reason to such member or guest.

  26. Flyfish Club trademark rights

    Members and their guests shall not use the names, logos, colors, trademarks, service marks, photographs, or other identifying features of Flyfish Club without obtaining the specific prior written approval of Flyfish Club as to the specific use.

  27. Liability of Flyfish Club

    All items brought into Flyfish Club are brought and left entirely at the risk of a member, or their guests. Flyfish Club shall not be liable to any member or guest for any loss, damage or injury suffered by them or their property howsoever caused, save in respect of death or personal injury to a member or guest to the extent caused by the negligence of Flyfish Club. This is not intended to affect any mandatory rights a member or guest may have under local law that we cannot legally restrict or exclude.

  28. Amendments to the House rules

    Flyfish Club may change the House rules from time to time, by displaying notification of the change on our website and app.
